I thougt it would be cool to have some nice pictures of our party at Cafe King to post. So i took my camera and…well…at least i tried. But appart from my photo skills everything went great. Norbert Schiegl, NotFX and I had a nice time playin our favourite tunes, the people where enjoing themselves and the music, the place was packed and the turntables where right next to the bar. Meaning an endless supply of free beer and vodka with cucumbers. Yeah, we had fun! Plus we’ve been handing out our first Topfriend Mixtape at Cafe King, for free. MC Gringo just rang at the doorbell of my Berlin appartment arriving from the epic performance of the Man Recordings Allstars at Melt! Festival 08. Him, Daniel Haaksman, Crookers, Deize Tigrona, DJ Beware, Bonde Do Role & Edu K killed it. 8h Hours Funk Mundial Madness. From what I heard from Daniel & MC Gringo from seeing the pictures only - I must believe it was huge and maybe the best stage of Melt! 08.

Man Recordings Act MC Gringo is also part of the New York-Rio-Baile-Funk-Connection and together with DJ Comrade from NY he released the XÃO Productions “1 Ano Aniversario Mixtape”. All the tracks are by friends & partners of Gringo’s and DJ Comrade’s crew XÃO.
