Dezember 11.00pm at the Registratur in Munich. Support comes this time from DJ Raph (Play Records/Amen/TopFriendMusic), the incredible King Augenring of Schlachthof Bronx-Fame and Norbert Schiegl (TopFriendMusic).

I started the Topfriendmusic Mix with the original version of WTF. I wish I had this remix back then. Would have been this version to get started, no boubt about that. It’s a dope remix of a dope song. Eli Escobar has done a good job here, as usual. He adds some funk, a nice and smooth vibe and even some energy to the tune. So you can’t go wrong with listening to:

I’m shure we gonna hear a lot more from Mr Hudson and the library in the near future. Let’s kick things off with a Count & Sinden remix. Those two are definatly among the top producers and their tunes get played and played. Mr Hudson gonna be big, Count & Sinden is great, no matter if the neighbours like it or not!

You hear chopped up vocals everywhere these days. Especially rap lyrics get chopped in Bmore, which is nice! So, for all the producers out there, here are my top 3 suggestions for punchlines i can’ t wait to hear at a club night. I would really love to hear them pitched up, pitched down, chooped and looped or whatever for five minutes or so. Fuck it, make it ten! Cause they are timeless.

1. “…no I’m not jamaican but yes I’m a rasta…”

Jeru pretty much sums up the whole rastafari movement with this one. So if you happen to be a reggea music lover from a small, let’s say bavarian, village, don’t hesitate to prove his point. Just approuch your favourite reggea artist after his next show with the words: “come on man, putta nadi autograph onna di peapa!” You will always have a pleace in that mans heart!

2.”…always love your mother, cause you’ll never get another…”

Wow, couldn’t get any realer than that, huh? Lil’dap and the Nutcracker runnin for family minister. Simple, plain and 120% true. I love the Group home lyrics!

3. ” …don’t play when it comes to my bass…”

I was just thinking about that one. Masta Ace, it would really fit. Great! So at least there is a kind of a chance someone could benefit from this completly senseless post.

I thougt it would be cool to have some nice pictures of our party at Cafe King to post. So i took my camera and…well…at least i tried. But appart from my photo skills everything went great. Norbert Schiegl, NotFX and I had a nice time playin our favourite tunes, the people where enjoing themselves and the music, the place was packed and the turntables where right next to the bar. Meaning an endless supply of free beer and vodka with cucumbers. Yeah, we had fun! Plus we’ve been handing out our first Topfriend Mixtape at Cafe King, for free.
